Afternoon tea is a British food tradition of sitting down for an afternoon treat of tea, sandwiches, scones and cake, and lively conversation. Join us for a delightful English-style afternoon tea, complete with a selection of sandwiches made with delicious fresh-baked bread, mini sausage rolls, and roasted vegetable pin wheels. A selection of mini-desserts are offered, such as lemon bars, millionaire’s shortbread, English cookies, French Macaroons, cream puffs, and English scones, all washed down with a choice of British teas. Teresa Gebbert, a British expat and owner of the Clock Tower Bakery in Overland Park, Kansas, is locally famous for her authentic British pastries and desserts.
Ladies Luncheon A traditional and fun gathering!

Situated in a uniquely walkable community, in a beautifully restored turn-of-the-century buggy barn, our luncheon will include a four-course meal, complete with a demonstration by a Culinary Center chef. As an added bonus, the CCKC also is the home to The Kitchen Shop, a retail shop offering serious culinary retail therapy for your cooking and entertaining addictions. Luncheon attendees receive a 10 percent discount on all purchases made at the shop. Before the luncheon, attendees will have the option to browse the nearby shop and local Farmer’s Market.
